About Retina Gallery - Images and Forum
Retina Gallery has been live since October 20, 2010. RetinaGallery.com was inspired by the tradition of fluorescein conferences where ophthalmologists and retina specialists discuss interesting case presentations. Most training programs have such conferences and many meetings have case presentation sessions. A lot of teaching and learning occurs with the presentation and discussion of cases. The great thing about conferences with discussions is that all the people in the room can contribute to the conversations and often everyone learns from these interactions. Hopefully this website will allow such discussions to occur online.

RetinaGallery includes a discussion forum where you can participate in discussions of interesting or puzzling cases. You can also start your own discussion topic and, if you want, link your discussion to a set of images you upload to this site.
Mission
Retina Gallery was created to serve educational purposes. By providing a venue to share and discuss both interesting and classic images and cases, Retina Gallery can foster cooperation among retinal specialists. Retina Gallery is also a resource for the public through its function as a library of high quality, non-copyrighted images.
