40 year old with type 1 diabetes. He lost his fellow eye following surgery (done elsewhere) for diabetic retinopathy. This eye had a vitreous hemorrhage which is clearing and now sees 20/50. The superotemporal tractional retinal detachment is now within the arcades and has progressed over the past month.
