10-year-old child has uveitis in both eyes. She also has optic nerve edema. She probably has tubulointerstitial nephritis-uveitis syndrome, and she apparently also independently has idiopathic elevated intracranial pressure. She was recently in the emergency room for vomiting and headaches. She is currently in Timolol in both eyes twice a day. She is taking Pred Forte every three hours. She is off the Atropine drops and she is taking Diamox once a day. VISUAL ACUITY: Vision OU is 20/20. IOP: 18 OU. The lenses are clear. The eyes are quiet. There is no anterior uveitis. EXTENDED OPHTHALMOSCOPY: OD: Vertical C/D ratio is 0.1. There is 3+ optic nerve edema. There is 1+ vitreous cells. OS: Vertical C/D ratio is 0.1. There is 1+ optic nerve edema and 1+ vitreous cells. ULTRASOUND: I did an ultrasound 30-degree test looking at the optic nerve swelling, and they were positive in both eyes. The 30-degree test in the right eye showed thinning of the optic nerve of 12 % and in the left eye of 28% on 30-degree lateral gaze.
