68 year old man has had multiple surgeries on OS over the last six months. A 20/60 macular pucker was operated on February 11, 2013. Patient was told he has some bleeding at the time of the macular pucker surgery. Used bubble at time of surgery. Vision was poor from the bubble. Finally in April, his doctor said the bubble was gone and patient was told that he had 'scarring on the macula' and he needed emergency surgery. April 17, 2013 - emergency surgery for retinal detachment. Patient had a buckle and gas was placed in eye. Cataract got bad after the second surgery. Patient was seen regularly by his ophthalmologist June 27, 2013 removed Cataract (said it was a 'big one'). There was a little air in the eye at the time. There was still a little piece of lens in the eye and the new lens was put in the front of they (AC IOL). Patient was told there was scar tissue in the eye preventing vision. Patient cannot see the upper third of the vision. His retina doctor suggested cleaning the eye out. There was a 'build up' of tissue. Patient is scheduled for surgery Monday. The patient is on eye drops and Ocuvite. VA OD: cc20/20 OS: scHM
