Retinal fold following removal of severe macular pucker 75 year old man had macula on inferior retinal detachment repair. He then developed a 5/200 dense macular pucker. After the pucker was removed the vision returned to 20/40 but there was a persistent superior retinal fold that looks a little like a snake.
