55 year old man About 2 months ago he had slept over his girlfriends house and the left eye was crusty and stuck shut (he was sleeping under and AC vent). From that point he noticed that his left eye was crusty when he woke up and was sticky in the morning. He was using systane drops to help with that. He has never had a pain in his eyes. He was driving down the road one night and he eye felt dry and he was closing his eyes and then noticed that with the left eye closed the vision in the right eye was good but he noticed that the left eye was not seeing well. The right eye was crystal clear and the left eye looked like the vision was blurry like a filter in front of his vision. The images was smaller and darker. He did have headaches a few weeks ago and also some nausea and vomiting. The patient was seen by you today and he noticed that the vision in the left eye is dark.
VA OD: Dcc20/20
VA OS: Dcc20/100-1
He was admitted directly to ICU for blood pressure control
3 weeks later his VA increased to 20/20 OD, 20/32 OS
