79-year-old woman has a macular pucker in the right eye. She also has a macular scar in the left eye. She had a vitrectomy in the left eye in 2 years ago and had an inadvertent needle stick that affected her macula.. VISUAL ACUITY: OD 20/80, OS 10/200. IOP: OD 15, OS 11. The right eye has 4+ nuclear sclerosis. The left eye has a posterior chamber intraocular lens is in good position with 3+ posterior capsular opacity. EXTENDED OPTHALMOSCOPY: OD: Vertical C/D ratio is 0.2. There is 3+ epiretinal membrane. OS: Vertical C/D ratio is 0.2. There is a macular scar with retinal atrophy superiorly. OCT SCAN: The OCT scan of the right eye shows an intense macular pucker. The left eye shows retinal atrophy corresponding to the area of the branch retinal artery occlusion superiorly.
