Myopic Staphyloma and Albinism 72 year old man The right eye was lost to an injury. When he worked in NASA he was myopic and used a contact lens and worked in information technology. He had an odd ball prescription. His vision gradually declined and then 10 years ago he had cataract surgery and his vision got better in about 6-7 weeks. Then the vision fogged up and eventually he could not see to cross the street. Laser helped some (Dr. Gills). About 5 years ago the vision started getting worse and worse and worse. Contact lenses are not helping. Medical Hx: Influenza Immunization Not Received. Pneumococcal Vaccine Not Received. albinism. Surgical Hx: Noncontributory.
