74 year old male Thick glasses since age 4 and cataract surgery at age 52. One week ago it looked like there was something floating around in the left eye. He changed sunglasses and they did the same thing. He decided it must be the eye. He was going on vacation and then the vision started getting blurry in the left eye during the vacation. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. He has had abnormal vision all of his life. He was premature and in an incubator and that might have been it. His sister has the same problem (one of the two sisters). He does not know what the problem. The patient used to wear very thick glasses. Medical Hx: Pure Hypercholesterolemia, Unspecified. Surgical Hx: Vericocele. Systemic Meds: TAMSULOSIN. VALSARTAN. Rosuvastatin. Ezetimibe. Aspirin 81 mg. Stool Softner. VA OD: Dsc20/80 VA OS: Dsc20/125-2 IOP: TP: OD:10 OS:15 |
