55-year-old man had a scleral buckle for a macula-threatening retinal detachment in the left eye one month ago and a previous pneumatic retinopexy. Patient sees a big floater. His vision is improving. VISUAL ACUITY: Vision OS is 20/50, PH 20/40. IOP: 13. There is 2+ nuclear sclerosis. EXTENDED OPHTHALMOSCOPY: OS: Vertical C/D ratio is 0.2. The retina is attached on a moderate buckle. IMPRESSION: 1. STATUS POST SCLERAL BUCKLE FOR MACULA-THREATENING RETINAL DETACHMENT – LEFT EYE
