BRVO Old Increased Edema with Hypertension - Improved with lower Blood Pressure 78 year old man with resolved BRVO from 6 years ago in the right eye (initial photos) New blurry vision when reading started about 4 weeks ago, symptoms similar to VO pt experienced back in 2008. When closing the left eye the print was blurred especially when reading. This started about 1 month ago. Prior inferotemporal macular BRVO that went away on its own without treatment. Blood pressure was 204/83. Vision in the right eye had declined from 20/25 to 20/40. One month later, with better blood pressure, the vision in the right eye improved to 20/25 with no retinal therapy needed.
