His ophthalmologist has treated the patient with an ointment. He put some of that in and the vision is a little better. The vision suddenly got worse with a lot of floaters. He is on coumadin for a-fib. VA OD: sc20/32 NccJ2 VA OS: sc20/50 PH20/32 NccJ2 He was initially treated for ARN because of the corneal lesion and got better and then recurred 6 months later. AC PCR was positive for toxoplasmosis and negative for all herpes viruses. He responded to Bactrim
