Left eye has Lamellar Macular Hole. He was treated for 1 year and vision returned to 20/25. He could never go 2 months without treatment. Then, after 18 months of therapy, he developed lung cancer and was placed on systemic avastin. His injections were stopped and his macula has been dry for 8 months with good vision.
