Macular fold after PPV for RD2985 x angesehenA 53-year-old man with a macula-off RD underwent left eye pars plana vitrectomy with air-fluid exchange, laser retinopexy, and injection of 14% SF6 gas. There were 4 retinal breaks between 10 o’clock and 12 o’clock including one large tear. He was compliant with facedown positioning. On the 8th post-operative day, a retinal fold along the 4-10 o’clock meridian was seen coursing through his central macula. He underwent repeat PPV but multiple attempts to lift and flatten the retina were unsuccessful.

Reoccurring Retinal Detachment1048 x angesehenPatient comes in for second opinion for RD in the right eye. Patient's VA was count fingers @ 2-ft in the right eye and 20/20 in the left eye. Patient is aphakic and has had 5- retinal surgeries in the past in the right eye including a scleral buckle. RD present with the macula off. Will consider surgery with silicone oil.

Vision OD is 20/160 There is 3+ vitreous hemorrhage with a retinal tear, about 2-disc diameters posterior to the equator at 10:00 o’clock over a retinal vessel.
