Optic Neuritis with Suspected Harada's Disease vu 1107 foisYoung female patient comes in with red and irritated eyes which were sensitive to the touch. Patient also had vision loss in both eyes. VA was 20/80, right eye, 20/60, left eye. Fundiscopic exam shows sub retinal fluid in the right eye surrounding the optic nerve. Patient will start steroid therapy to reduce any other inflammation that is active.

Papilledema Probable to Pseudo-tumor Cerebrivu 972 foisA 24-year old female who presents severe headaches and vision loss over the past 6-months. VA was 20/40 with pinhole 20/25, right eye and 20/25, left eye. Fundiscopic exam reveals 3-4 plus papilledema of both optic nerves. Patient has VF defects inferior, nasal-right eye and enlarged blind spot with an inferior arcuate defect present. Patient will get MRI and work-up with treatment in the hospital.

Superior Peripapillary Hemorrhagevu 1022 foisPatient was seen for acute vision loss in the right eye. Patient has glaucoma. VA was 20/70 in the right eye. Had Vitrectomy back in May 2012 for ERM stripping. Also had Trabectome with cataract surgery back in December of 2012. Fundus photos presents a Superior Peripapillary Hemorrhage of the optic nerve. Patient will be followed up in one month.

Giant Cell Arteritis - 85 year old woman sudden vision loss left eye - AION - Pale Swollen Optic Nervevu 1563 fois 85-year-old woman has felt sick and weak for about the last two months. She is having headaches, jaw claudication, and her eyes ache. Then, three days ago she had sudden vision loss in the left eye. You saw her with optic nerve swelling and suggested she come in here for evaluation. She had coronary bypass surgery in 2004.
VISUAL ACUITY: Vision OD is 20/80, OS is light perception

Papilledema from pseudotumor cerebri Pre Spinal Tap - VA 20/100vu 974 fois24-year-old woman was seen in the office on 2/23/2010. She has had noticed positional blurring of her vision when she bends over since around November. When she bends over and stands up straight, she notices her vision is blurred. Vision OD is 20/100, PH 20/40; OS is 20/80, PH 20/30. IOP: 19 OU.

Optic Nerve Pit Retinal Detachment - Macular Detachment - 8 Year Old - 5/200 Vision OSvu 831 fois8-year-old child on two school exams that his vision was poor in the left eye and his last normal exam was in preschool.
VISUAL ACUITY: OD 20/30, OS 5/200. OS: Vertical C/D ratio is 0.2. There is a whitening on the temporal edge of the optic nerve consistent with an optic disc pit and there is a serous macular detachment.
