Macular Hole Surgery - Macular Damage 74 year old man The left eye is good. The right eye had two surgeries for macular hole in January and May 2017. (one year ago) The initial surgery did not have the results that were hoped for. The first surgery had head down for 2 weeks and the second surgery was head down for 1 week. The second was to do a repair to help things heal a little bit better. The eye did not do any better after the second procedure compared to the first. The patient was told about 3-4 months ago that there might be another procedure that could improve the vision. The patient had cataract surgery for the cataract following the macular hole and a YAG about a month ago. VA OD: DccCF 3ft- EFX NccUnable VA OS: Dcc20/25-1 NccJ1+
