There are already venous-venous collaterals, suggesting the vein occlusion may be a little more than a few months old. There are multiple microaneurysms superotemporal to the fovea, and there is leakage in the late frames involving the fovea.

SLIT LAMP EXAMINATION: Biomicroscopy reveals 3+ pupillary reaction OD, 2+ OS with no afferent pupillary defect. EXTENDED OPHTHALMOSCOPY: Extended funduscopy with Volk 90-diopter lens and fundus drawings of both eyes reveal a clear view with no posterior vitreous separation. C/D ratio is 0.2. There is no vitreous debris or hemorrhage. Large retinal vessels and macula are healthy. The retinal periphery, inspected with scleral depression for 360° shows no retinal tears, breaks, or detachments.

OCT SCAN: The OCT scan of the nerve fiber layer in the right eye shows a thickness of 88 microns, the left eye 59 microns.
MRI did show a suprasellar mass which is affecting the optic chiasm and is responsible for the vision loss. The tumor was resected and was a benign pituitary tumor.
