This pleasant 35-year-old woman noticed decreasing vision in the left eye recently. She returns now noticing the vision in the left eye is declining. OD 20/50, OS 20/80. OS: Vertical C/D ratio is 0.3. There is a scar just inferonasal to the fovea, which has grown some towards the fovea with a little blood just under the fovea.

Recurrent MEWDS Left Eye - Teenage Girlvu 587 foisPatient presented in 2014 (first images) 2 months following vision loss left eye. Vision went from 20/60 - 20/20. OCT showed outer retinal irregularities which normalized. Then 3 years later in 2017 she had full blown MEWDS. She presented acutely and all the images are typical. Both episodes where in the same time of year, about 3 months after her flu shot for sports.

Hypertensive Choroidopathy - Pheochromocytoma - Chronic Very High Blood Pressure 49 YO Malevu 586 fois49-year-old man chronic very high blood pressure sometimes the blood pressure will go as high as 260/160, sometimes it is 200/120 and sometimes it is 160/80. He has a pheochromocytoma on the adrenal gland and he has had vision loss in the right eye starting between three and four years ago.

VISUAL ACUITY: OD 20/60, OS 20/25.

Retinitis Pigmentosa Sine Pigmento or Unknown Dystrophy - Peripheral Superficial White Spots and Recurrent CME - FA Earlyvu 586 fois46-year-old woman three of her 5 siblings have been diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa. Her mother and father were seen and as far as everyone can tell, neither of them has it, although there was some thought they might be carriers. They were evaluated twenty five years ago and since then as far as she knows, there has not been a lot of testing done.

Serous Macular Detachment Left Eye - Possible Hypertensive Choroidopathy v. Central Serous Retinopathyvu 585 fois59-year-old woman decreasing vision in the left eye for about two days. She sees a spot in front of her vision. It is a yellow spot which is just straight ahead and moves with her eye. She does have high blood pressure. She checks her blood pressure at home, and even at home her blood pressure runs very high, with the systolic running around 200 and the diastolic around 100, although occasionally it does return to the normal range.

VISUAL ACUITY: Vision OD is 20/60, OS is 20/30

Acute Central Serous Chorioretinopathy with Symptoms in Hazy Vision Both Eyesvu 585 fois48-year-old man with hazy vision in the right eye for about three days. He has a little more of a headache than usual. He is under a fair amount of stress. He does not take any steroids that he knows of. He does use a nasal spray, which he is not sure if that is a steroid spray or not. He is going to call us with that medicine. I checked his blood pressure today is was 115/95.

Interestingly, her mother, who is with her at this visit, was told about a year ago that her maculae are abnormal too. Her mother’s vision is fine. In the family tree, there are no known retinal dystrophies. They are both healthy.

He recently was told that the carotid circulation is closed off on both sides. He does have a patent vertebral artery, which is supplying him pretty well and in addition to that his cardiac output is compromised by poor mitral valves. He had some vision changes in medical school in the 1980s and saw Dr. Gass for that. He had some pigment epithelial irregularities in both eyes. He had strabismus as a child and had muscle surgery. He is color blind, along with many people in his family, and as far as he knows, it is congenital.

Wet AMD - Subfoveal CNVM - Excellent Response to Avastinvu 583 fois76-year-old woman two to three months of vision loss OD

Vision started at 20/200 and with Avastin improved to 20/25. She has required monthly injections and as of October 2010 has been treated about 16 times. Her left eye remains good at 20/20.

AIDS - HIV Retinopathy - Cotton Wool Spotsvu 583 fois54-year-old woman HIV positive for 18 years. Her CD4 count is currently less than 50 and she was hospitalized for pneumocystis carinii pneumonia 5 months ago. She has noticed just for the last few weeks a few blind spots in the paracentral vision. Predominantly out of her right eye when she closes her left eye, she sees a few temporal blind spots. VA 20/25 in both eyes.

Indocyanine Green Angiogram - Enhanced S Cone Syndrome - Goldmann Favre - vu 583 fois55-year-old woman while in college her vision was poor even with glasses and she sought evaluation for that. She was told after she had an electroretinogram at USF 15 years ago, that she had something with her blue cones. She does have poor night vision, but her reading vision is pretty good.

VISUAL ACUITY: OD 20/40, OS 20/40

Basal Laminar Drusen - Cuticular Drusen - 19 Year Old with Lupus Nephritisvu 583 fois19-year-old. She has a history of developing severe systemic lupus erythematosus in 2001. She was in renal failure and had biopsy proven Class 2 lupus nephritis. She is currently on Plaquenil 400 mg for six years, as well as Prednisolone orally, every other day. OD 20/20, OS 20/25.
